The holidays are fast approaching, and with them comes a common coverage question: Is anyone who drives my car covered?
Maybe you’ve had a little too much holiday cheer and you need a Designated Driver to take you home. Or maybe a friend or relative is in town and they are using the car. Whatever the reason, the general rule of thumb is as long as the person is licensed and has your permission to use the car they are covered. Remember, everyone in your household who is licensed must be listed on your policy, we are talking about people who do not live with you and do not have regular access to your vehicles.
Of course there could be exclusions, depending on your individual policy, so it’s always a good idea to give a call and double check.
